 In my works I normally show a personal vocabulary that relates to my personal history and background as well as the possibilities and questions in contemporary art and design. I work in awide variety of media, in which I visualize the human deficiency in drawings, paintings and sculptures, both deeply and lightly. This reflection is both a confrontation and a mix of my personal experience and the contemporary Western culture. The method Itend to use is the combination of sharp observations and the often humorous appearance which also connecting the story of being human with contemporary motifs and materials. This makes me a detective of time, in which my experiences give me a relatively objective perspective to hold a mirror and showing the awkward attempts with the world we relate to (im) possibilities.

In 2021, he is starting his PhD research of "collaborations between art, design and bioscience" at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. He graduated with triple master degrees in social design from Design Academy Eindhoven; in dentistry from National Yang-Ming University; and in Communication Design from Shih Chien University. Formerly a dentist, Ku is a bio-artist and speculative designer. He co-founded TW BioArt (a Taiwan bioart community) to stimulate the fields of BioArt and Science + Art in Taiwan. His works often deal with the human body, sexuality, interspecies interactions, and medical technology, and aim to investigate the relationships among technology, individuals, and the environment.
