 Ruby HSIEH I-Hsuan is an independent film curator and critic. She holds a master degree of Anthropology, National Taiwan University. She has more than 6 years work experience in film festivals, managing multiple art and cultural mediation projects. She works as a selection committee for Taipei Film Festival (2019-2021), and a programmer of Women Make Waves Film Festival Taiwan (2021-). She was the program director for Taoyuan Film Festival (2018) and international competition selection committee at 2022 Taiwan International Documentary Festival.
She is chief editor for Taiwan Documentary E-Paper. As one of the members of Taiwan Film Critics Society, her writings range from interviews, reviews, to essays on films, moving images and the film festival studies with a focus on Taiwan and Southeast Asia. She is a member of Hide & Seek Audiovisual Art, currently developing a research project about film museums / audiovisual archives in Europe and Taiwan. 謝以萱，電影評論、研究與策展。國立臺灣大學人類學碩士，關注當代東南亞電影與視覺藝術發展，以及影展如何作為一文化知識生產的場域。為台灣影評人協會成員，亦為《紀工報》執行主編。連續三年擔任台北電影節國際新導演競賽初選小組（2019-2021）、台灣國際女性影展選片人（2021-）、桃園電影節節目統籌（2018），亦為台灣國際紀錄片影展競賽類初選委員（2022）。參與富邦文教基金會電影學校影像教育等工作。現正進行影音檔案機構之研究調查計畫。 Comments are closed.
